NLA - The Rapperswil-Jona Lakers have signed forward Reto Schmutz and defenseman Christopher Bagnoud for the upcoming season. Furthermore, homegrown Cedric Hüsler receives a professional contract for one year.

Reto Schmutz will join the Lakers from HC Ajoie in the NLB. He was already part of the their line-up in ten games (1 goal) at the end of the past season. Under contract with the Ajoulots since 2012, the 21-year-old forward was able to score 13 goals and 17 assists in 91 games.

Christopher Bagnoud has already some experience in Switzerland's highest league. In season 2012/2013, he appeared in 45 games with the Kloten Flyers (without scoring any points). During the past season the 22-year-old defender was loaned to EHC Olten, where he completed a total of 33 games, scoring two goals and seven assists.

Homegrown forward Cedric Hüsler receives a professional contract, which is valid until 2015. In season 2013/2014, the 20-year-old forward completed 14 NLA games as well as 41 games (12 goals, 18 assists) with the Lakers' Elite A youth team.
