Martin Réway, a fourth round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, is currently looking at his options for the upcoming season. First and foremost, he still hopes to get a chance in North America.

Christian Dubé had already told La Liberté that he has not yet looked into re-signing the 20-year-old forward. The same applies apparently to Réway, who wants to see if he gets a shot in North America, before he thinks about an extension with HC Fribourg-Gottéron.

"I think I have the qualities to play there", tells the Slovakian international La Liberté. "After that, there are so many factors that come into play, which determine if you are a NHL player or not... You cannot control everything." Be that as it may, the Canadiens still hold his rights until June 2017 and his future in North America thus lies in their hands. (mso)
