HC Ambrì-Piotta have signed a fifth import. For the coming two months, Brandon McMillan will be part of their roster. His contract is equipped with an option for an extension until the end of the season.

Over the last five years, the Canadian was part of various teams in the KHL, the last one being Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. He made a total of 239 games, recording 52 goals and 51 assists. Prior to his time in the KHL, he used to play for several NHL organizations before leaving for the DEL in 2015.

The 31-year-old joins Brandon Kozun, Juuso Hietanen, Peter Regin, and an injured Matt D'Agostini as the Biancoblù's imports. He will be eligible for their first game of the season, coming Friday versus the ZSC Lions.
