HC Ajoie has added Maxime Fortier as a replacement for the two injured imports Guillaume Asselin and Jonathan Hazen. Fortier, also a Québecois, arrives from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in the ECHL with which he signed only three weeks ago.
Last season, Fortier suited up for the Bratislava Capitals in the ICEHL and the Manchester Storm. For Bratislava, he recorded 21 points (eleven goals) in 41 games. For Manchester 13 points (eight goals) in 14 games.
