Thürkauf has been recalled to replace Oliver Bjorkstrand, who went into the boards in last night's game and is expected to miss about 8-10 weeks due to a sprain and ankle fracture.
This season, the Swiss forward has recorded nine goals and 16 assists in 47 games for the Cleveland Monsters. Thrükauf was drafted by the Jackets in 2016 but has yet to make his NHL debut.
