At training camp, forward Grégory Hofmann, as well as defensemen Dean Kukan and Tim Berni will get their chance to convince the coaching staff to include them in the roster for the opening game of the season. The extended roster is at the moment composed of 38 forwards, 22 defenders, and seven goaltenders.
The camp will kick off on September 22 in Columbus. On September 27, their preseason schedule will start with a road game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
