After 15 years of playing in foreign countries, the Finn will reportedly move back to Hämeenlinna.

HC Ambrì-Piotta

Juuso Hietanen joined HC Ambrì-Piotta last summer. After one season here, the defenseman will reportedly bid farewell to Switzerland and return to his home country. As the Finnish newspaper Iltalethi writes, he will be joining his former team, HPK.

The 36-year-old last played for them in 2007 before leaving the Liiga and setting out towards the SHL. In 2011, he moved on to the KHL, where he spent nine seasons before joining Ambrì-Piotta.

With the Biancoblù, Hietanen made 53 games, recording two goals and 18 assists.

In February, he was part of the Finnish squad that won gold at the Olympic Games.
