Yesterday, Bader suited up for HC Thurgau for the first time this season since he underwent an appendix surgery. In order to get back into playing mode, the netminder will stay with HCT for the next two weeks before returning to Rapperswil, the Thurgauer Zeitung writes.
In defense, however, HC Thurgau has to digest some bad news: Austrian defender Bernhard Fechtig suffered a rupture of his cruciate ligament. He will not be able to return to the ice this season. The club is thus looking for a replacement, the same source reports.
Moreover, defenseman Marco Forrer suffered an upper-body injury in Friday's game against Langenthal. His time of absence is not yet known.
