The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers have inked the 31-year-old American to a two-year contract, which keeps him in Rapperswil until 2021.

Andrew Rowe will play in front of Rapperswil's fans.

"Andrew is a two-way center who, as an excellent skater, is offensively convincing and a strong scorer, as well as doing a lot of defensive work and taking on any opponent," SCRJ's team manager Janick Steinmann explains his choice.

Most recently, Andrew Rowe has played for Mora IK in the Swedish Hockey League. This past season, the center has appeared in 46 regular season games, in which he scored 15 goals and 18 assists for a total of 33 points. Moreover, he served as assistant captain for the SHL team.

For the upcoming season, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers now have four import-forwards on their roster: Andrew Rowe ((USA), until 2021), Casey Wellman ((USA), 2020), Kevin Clark ((CAN), 2021), and Danny Kristo ((USA), 2020).
