Hrachovina, a product of Czech team HC Kometa Brno, played under contract with KHL's Barys Astana last season, where he managed to post a goal save percentage of .914 in a total of 22 regular season games.
Prior to his time in Kazakhstan, Hrachovina was part of Liiga's Tappara for six years. With the Finnish team from Tappara, he won the Championship twice in 2016 and 2017, and advanced to the league's finals the year after.
