Deniss Smirnovs soon to extend contract with GSHC?

According to the Tribune de Genève, Genève-Servette HC does intend to keep the forward. They apparently want to sign him to a three-year deal which would keep him in Geneva until the end of the 2022-23 season.

Smirnovs had a fantastic start to his first National League season, recording three goals and seven assists (six of them are primary assists) in ten games. On average, he was on the ice for 16:00 minutes per game.
