According to the Tages-Anzeiger, the 36-year-old veteran defenseman is likely to remain in Zurich for another season.

After their contract extension with Maxim Noreau, there are only two question marks in the ZSC Lions defense for the upcoming season: Tim Berni and Severin Blindenbacher. From what the Tages-Anzeiger hears, also Blindenbacher will stay on board for another season.

This season, the 36-year-old has appeared in twelve games with the Lions so far, in which he was on the ice for an average of 14:20 minutes per game, ranking sixth among the defensemen on the team. He has recorded four points (one goal).
