The right-handed defenseman has signed a two-year extension with HC Davos that will keep him in Davos until 2022.

A few minutes before the start of the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup game against SC Bern, HC Davos announced the renewal of Lukas Stoop's contract for two more years. The 29-year-old joined HCD in 2018, after six seasons with EHC Kloten. Prior to that, Stoop already suited up for five seasons with HC Davos.

This season, Stoop has recorded five points in 19 games and he is averaging 14:15 minutes on the ice per game.
