"We are happy to have an additional reinforcement for our defense and Tobias Geisser can benefit from regular appearances in Switzerland's highest league," EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy explains, rating the whole transfer as a win-win situation for all parties involved.

The Bulls' homegrown defender was drafted in 2017 and signed to an entry-level contract by the Washington Capitals the year after. Thus far, however, Geisser has only appeared with the Hershey Bears (the Caps' AHL affiliate team), recording one assist in a total of 48 games.
