The Bianconeri have signed the Canadian forward to a contract, which is valid until the end of the current season.

From Zug to Lugano: David McIntyre.
Remo Max Schindler /

When EV Zug and David McIntyre dissolved their contract yesterday, the Canadian was free to leave. That the 32-year-old was going to sign with HC Lugano has been expected as several media outlets reported about the interest of the Bianconeri earlier.

McIntyre will participate in his first practice with Lugano tomorrow morning and make his debut after the international break.

This season, McIntyre has appeared in 20 National League games for Zug, in which he recorded a total of five points (three goals).
