Proceedings initiated against LHC's Oejdemark and GCK's Hardmeier

In yesterday's matchup between EHC Biel and Lausanne HC, the visitor's Victor Oejdemark delivered a hit to the head of the home team's Mike Künzle. During the game, the defenseman received a minor penalty plus an automatic ten-minute misconduct. The league has now also opened proceedings against Oejdemark.

Dominik Hardmeier also has proceedings initiated against his illegal hit. In his case, the GCK Lions-forward checked HC Sierre's Yoan Massimino into the boards from behind on January 2. Hardmeier has also been provisionally suspended for one game.
