Otso Rantakari moves to Biel.
Otso Rantakari will remain with EHC Biel at least until the end of the month. After that, HC Davos has the option to call him back until the transfer deadline on February 15. "This is an important safeguard for us," HCD's team manager Raeto Raffainer explains. "In case one of our import-players gets injured in the coming weeks."
EHC Biel, on the other hand, has found at least a temporary solution to replace their Finnish defenseman Anssi Salmela, who broke one of his cheekbones. He has to undergo surgery on Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for four weeks.
