Lausanne soon to add a DEL player?

It is no secret that the market is currently quite dried up. But, in the wake of Cory Emmerton's injury, the acquisition of a new player has become even more important to Alston.

According to Grégory Beaud (Sport-Center, published on Le Matin), Alston has taken an interest in Alexandre Grenier who is currently playing for the Iserlohn Roosters (DEL). His team will miss the playoffs and thus he might be free to play for another team for the remainder of the season.

However, Lausanne HC is apparently not the only Swiss team interested in him, but, as a source tells Beaud, they seem to be the most interested. Alston was not available for a comment on the subject matter.

Grenier, who has appeared in over 400 AHL games, has recorded nine goals and ten assists in 30 games for Iserlohn this season.
