Almost a Bear: Casey Wellman
Last week, SC Bern announced the signing of SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers-forward Casey Wellman for the remainder of 2019-20. However, due to failed medical exams, the US-American will not actually be joining the Bears, as the club announced today.
The 32-.year-old will now undergo further medical exams with doctors of the Lakers. Afterwards, the club will determine how to proceed.
Having joined Rapperswil-.Jona in 2018, Wellman made 73 games for them before his presumed departure, recording 28 goals and 35 assists.
