Genève-Servette HC will likely have to look for another import player for next season. As Marc-André Berset (RTS) writes, Tommy Wingels has decided to not return, despite still having an ongoing contract. According to Le Matin, this is due to family reasons.
Over the last two years, the 32-year-old forward has appeared in 65 games for the Grenats, recording 29 goals and 31 assists.
Since Berset's tweet also mentions Linus Omark as a currently signed import, it really looks like the Swede is set to join GSHC.
