Earlier today, both Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) and Pierre Schouwey (La Liberté), already wrote on Twitter that Gaétan Jobin will return to HC Fribourg-Gottéron after one season in North America. Now, the club has officially announced that the 18-year-old has signed a one-year contract with them.

This past season, Jobin scored 13 goals and collected twelve assists in 52 games with the Islanders. Moreover, he suited up for the Swiss U20 national team at the World Juniors, recording three points in five games.
