With the presumed season start only a month away, the Lakers like many other teams are starting up their summer training camps to get back in shape.

As was reported yesterday, Noah Schneeberger is participating in the practice. Another surprise guest was Janick Schwendener, the Südostschweiz reports, previous backup goaltender for the Lakers. After three seasons with HC Thurgau, the club and the goaltender decided to dissolve their agreement prematurely, so Schwendener is now looking for new opportunities.

Among the absentees were the Lakers' captain Andrew Rowe and new acquisition Steve Moses. Rowe already arrived in Switzerland, but is in mandatory quarantine. Moses has not been able to travel to Switzerland due to visa issues.
