In an interview with 24 heures, Svoboda reveals that Fust will in fact, serve as Lausanne HC's team manager. But he will be, as already reported by the same source a week ago, supported by an entire committee.

Svoboda also talked to 24 heures about Dale Weise who denied to La Presse that he has a deal in place with Lausanne HC: "He asked us to be patient, but we can't afford to wait and do nothing. This case isn't closed, but we're also looking to see if there are other options on the market for a fifth import player."

As for the case of Joël Vermin, everything still seems to be up in the air. According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), LHC was in contact with the ZSC Lions, EV Zug, HC Davos and HC Lugano but a solution could not be found.

Citing reliable sources, Zaugg writes that former SC Bern team manager and current member of the Bears' staff Alex Chatelain has offered to take over Vermin's deal "with a gross salary of CHF 525,000". Apparently, if they were to take on Vermin's contract, they would refrain from signing a fourth import player for the time being.
