In June, Don Nachbaur was announced as SC Bern's new head coach. Six months later, the 61-year-old has issued his resignation from the job. As the club states, both sides have agreed to not disclose the reasons leading to the decision.

For the time being, Mario Kogler will take over for Nachbaur. The 33-year-old Austrian, in the coaching business since 2009, has been the head coach of SC Bern's U20 juniors since 2017.

There will be two additions to the coaching staff. Former team manager Alex Chatelain as well as Mark Streit, who has been working as a coach in the junior department, will both join.
