As Gaëtan Haas has been called back to the Edmonton Oilers, team manager Florence Schelling is looking to sign a fourth import-player.

Harri Pesonen: Back to Switzerland?

Whereas Haas has to leave the capital city, having played his final game last night against Rapperswil, it is not yet clear who will replace him. SC Bern's CEO Marc Lüthi already announced that they will add a fourth import-player to their squad, once Haas is on his way back to the NHL.

This mission, however, could take some time. "It's a difficult time," Florence Schelling explains to the Berner Zeitung. "Numerous players want to wait and see if they can still get an NHL contract." Adding a new player before Christmas thus seems to be unlikely.

One (available) option could be Finnish forward Harri Pesonen. Although an "interesting, very good hockey player" (Schelling), he does not fit her profile. She is looking for a right not a left winger. But maybe he will end up in the canton of Bern nevertheless: The SCL Tigers are interested in a return of their former player, the Berner Zeitung writes.
