Head coach Patrick Emond, his two assistants Louis Matte and Jan Cadieux as well as other members of the staff have signed extensions.

Sticking around: Patrick Emond
Genève-Servette HC

As RTS already reported last Sunday, Genève-Servette HC is keeping their coaching staff around for another two years. The group around Patrick Emond, including assistants Louis Matte and Jan Cadieux, goalie coach Sébastien Beaulieu, video coach Kevin Oulevey and fitness coach Gaëtan Brouillard, will all be part of the Grenats until 2023.

On the goalie coach position, Beaulieu will get additional help from Mathieu Fernandes, who has been working in that role with several of GSHC's junior teams for a few years.

"It has been two seasons now that Pat Emond has been at the helm of the team and the record is good! He and his staff have had success with a younger team with more local roots. The 1890 Foundation and I are satisfied and we want to maintain continuity. It was therefore logical and necessary to extend the entire sports staff for two more seasons. The project is in good hands", team manager Marc Gautschi comments on the extensions.
