Leaving the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers does certainly not automatically mean that Jeff Tomlinson is leaving Switzerland. He wants to stay here and find a new team to coach. As he tells the Zürichsee-Zeitung, there is already an offer on his table.
The newspaper does not mention from which club. Recently, the Walliser Bote reported that Tomlinson is one of the candidates for the coaching position at EHC Visp. CEO Sébastien Pico confirms their interest to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), but also says that Tomlinson has already told them a while ago that he was not interested.
Also looking for a new coaching staff for the upcoming season is EHC Kloten, for example. Only yesterday they have confirmed that head coach Per Hånberg and assistant Björn Lidström have to leave.
