After they have signed Harri Pesonen to a two-year deal, there is only one import-spot open on the Tigers' roster for the upcoming season.

Will Nick Shore become a Tiger?
Monika Majer / RvS.Media

As both the Berner Zeitung and Klaus Zaugg (Watson) report, EV Zug's American center Nick Shore is a candidate for the open position in Langnau. The 28-year-old, who recorded 35 points (nine goals) in 35 games with EVZ last season, however, also has an offer from the KHL, the Berner Zeitung writes.

Moreover, it is still open if defenseman Sebastian Schilt is going to leave the SCL Tigers, the Berner Zeitung writes. Apparently, negotiations between the 34-year-old and HC Ajoie have not been successful. Now the Tigers might sit down with Schilt once again and discuss a possible contract extension.
