As his lawyers Cédric Berger and Nathalie Subilia tell the Tribune de Genève, they have indeed sent a request for the payment of CHF 7'652'161 to Genève-Servette HC, which "corresponds to what the GSHC owes to Chris McSorley for the period that runs from 2020, the date of his unfair dismissal, to 2028."
The legal battle between Genève-Servette HC and Chris McSorley has been going on since February 2021 and has yet to be resolved. McSorley just started his new job as the head coach of HC Lugano.
