Last season, HC Lugano had the "C" rotating among several players. This season, this is going to change again. The club has decided to start the season with one captain to lead the team: Mark Arcobello.
"The HCL believes that, with his experience and leadership qualities, Mark Arcobello can represent the whole team and can prove to be an excellent choice to lead his team mates towards future successes," the statement of the club reads.
The American forward is going to play his second season with HC Lugano. From 2016 to 2020, he suited up for SC Bern.
