Sami Vatanen will stay with Genève-Servette HC until the end of the 2021-22 season. "The arrival of Sami offers us a lot of possibilities and stability. He is able to play in all phases of the game and his great offensive talent will help us a lot," team manager Marc Gautschi states.
Vatanen has played in the NHL for the past nine seasons. He suited up for the Anaheim Ducks, the New Jersey Devils, the Carolina Hurricanes, and lastly the Dallas Stars. Last season, he recorded two goals and four assists in 30 games for the Devils and appeared in nine games for the Dallas Stars.
