"It is a great honor for me to be able to experience this as a local," Rizzello states. "I grew up in this city, this arena was my home and I saw familiar faces in the crowd at every game."
Antonio Rizzello, who served as the Lakers' captain from 2015 to 2019, retired from professional hockey at the end of the 2019-20 season. While he spent his last season playing for the GCK Lions, most of his career he suited up for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
