Although he has not yet decided if he wants to keep playing hockey, Forster is sure that his performance is enough to continue his career.

"I'm still having fun and if I can maintain the current level, I see no reason why I shouldn't get another contract," the 38-year-old defender explains to the Bieler Tagblatt. It is, however, not yet sure, if Forster would actually want a new deal and thus continue his career: "I still have to decide that."

Over the course of the season, Beat Forster has been on the ice for 17 minutes per game on average. In 25 games so far, he recorded one assist.

Apart from Forster's contract, also forward Tino Kessler's deal with EHC Biel is coming to an end after this season. As he tells the same source, it is still open if he wants to stay in Biel. But things have improved for him compared to last season: "Now i feel better and also get more ice time."
