What Blick already reported two days ago is now confirmed: Defenseman Michael Fora will leave Ambrì-Piotta in direction of Davos.

Next season, the 26-year-old will no longer wear white and blue, but yellow and blue. HC Davos will be Fora's first club in Switzerland apart from HC Ambrì-Piotta. He makes use of his out-clause in Ambrì and has signed a contract, which is valid until the end of the 2025-26 season.

HCD's team manager Jan Alston says that Michael Fora is exactly the player he has been looking for. In his eyes, he is "simply a complete defender" who has defensive but also offensive qualities. "In addition, his leadership qualities are enormously valuable for our young team."

Over the course of the current season, Fora has appeared in 20 games for HCAP. He put up a total of nine points (two goals) and was on the ice for 19:38 minutes per game. The most after Finnish defender Juuso Hietanen (20:59 TOI).
