As Klaus Zaugg (Watson) reports, the Bears are looking for a solution for three players with ongoing contracts: Calle Andersson, Cory Conacher, and Kaspars Daugavins.

Andrew Ebbett already confirmed to the Berner Zeitung that Cory Conacher has no future in the capital city. He also told the same source yesterday that they are looking to find a new spot for Calle Andersson and that they have been in talks with HC Lugano regarding the defender.

The Corriere del Ticino already reported that the Bianconeri had signed Andersson to a three-year deal, which Hnat Domenichelli denied in yesterday's edition of Rete Uno's show Tempi Supplementari, as RSI writes. Nonetheless, there would be interest in him if he were bought out by Bern and on the market. They would not take over his current contract.

As for Kaspars Daugavins, he, too, would have one year left on his contract with SC Bern. However, according to Zaugg, the Bears are also looking to part ways with the Latvian, who has recorded ten goals and 15 assists in 34 games for SCB.

On an additional note, the club from the capital seems to be close to landing Sven Bärtschi. The forward, part of the Vegas Golden Knights and generally playing in the AHL, is in the process of deciding about his future. With Bern, it would currently just be a financial matter, as Zaugg writes.
