According to Klaus Zaugg (Watson), the ZSC Lions, HC Lugano, EV Zug, and EHC Biel are no longer interested in acquiring the forward.

As Zaugg writes, the executives of the mentioned teams have confirmed to him that they are no longer negotiating and no longer interested in Sven Bärtschi. Apparently, Bärtschi's agent is asking for too much money and there is also doubt among the clubs that the 29-year-old will be able to play a decisive role on the bigger rinks of the National League.

The only ones who has already confirmed his interest in Bärtschi is SC Bern's team manager Andrew Ebbett and the newly appointed CEO Raeto Raffainer. The latter confirmed their interest at their press conference a week ago.

For the past three seasons, Sven Bärtschi mainly played in the AHL. This season, he appeared in 41 games so far for the Henderson Silver Knights, in which he recorded 26 points (14 goals).
