Lower rent for three years - HC Davos to save almost one million francs

Hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly with the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Spengler Cup, HC Davos' board of directors has put in place rigorous restructuring measures to avoid excessive debt. Among the various strategies, the club asked in March the city council to set the rent of the Eisstadion Davos at CHF 200'000.- each season, for savings thus amounting to CHF 880'000.- in total.
