Most recently, Adam Almquist has played for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL, where he recorded one goal and one assist in 25 games this year. For the rest of the season, however, the Swedish defenseman will add another stint in Switzerland and wear EV Zug's jersey.
"Adam is an intelligent defender who can make the game fast with his good passing and make his mark offensively. He also brings great experience," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy says, who finally found a replacement for Niklas Hansson, who is out with a knee-injury for another two months.
