The current head coach of IFK Helsinki, which momentarily sits in twelfth place in the Liiga's standings, has reportedly submitted his application to Jan Alston, HC Davos' team manager. Yesterday, the Tages-Anzeiger wrote that Josh Holden and Tommi Niemelä are also candidates for the job apparently.
Peltonen already coached in Switzerland from 2016 to 2020, for two years in Bern and one and a half years in Lausanne. During his time in Lausanne, he worked with Jan Alston, who was the team manager of the Lions until they were both relieved of their duties at the end of February 2020.
