"Juho has not only convinced us with his physically strong play, which creates spaces for our forwards, but also with his scoring qualities," Sven Leuenberger, team manager of the ZSC Lions says. The 26-year-old has scored 15 goals in 36 games so far and is the Lions' best goal scorer.
With this contract extension, the Lions now have four import-players for the next season: Goalie Šimon Hrubec (
), defender Mikko Lehtonen (
), as well as forwards Lucas Wallmark (
) and Juho Lammikko ().
Enzo Guebey, who has a Swiss player's license, has played both for the ZSC Lions and the GCK Lions since he arrived in Zürich in 2021. "He masters his different roles with us and with the GCK Lions very well," Leuenberger says. "I trust Enzo to make further progress." This season, the 23-year-old mainly played for the GCK Lions in the Swiss League.
