The league has initiated proceedings against EHC Kloten's forward due to an alleged slashing in the 50th minute of Tuesday's game against EHC Winterthur. The 30-year-old American has been provisionally suspended for one game. He will thus miss Friday's road game against the GCK Lions.

Since his arrival in Kloten, Combs has played a total of eight games, in which he was able to put up ten points (five goals). With 1.25 points per game, he ranks third behind their former forward Jussi Jokinen (1.71 P/GP) and Canadian Ryan MacMurchy (1.29 P/GP).
