Whereas Berger joins the Lions for two years, Petrig has signed a one-year deal. Four players, on the other hand, will leave EHC Visp.

Nils Berger will suit up for EHC Visp next season.

The 28-year-old Nils Berger joins Visp from the SCL Tigers, for which he has suited up for the past four seasons. With Jan Petrig another forward joins the team. The 20-year-old has most recently played for EHC Biel and HC Ajoie, where he has played on loan for most of the current season.

In addition, the Valaisans announce the return of 19-year-old defenseman David Zeiter from Genève-Servette HC, as well as the contract extensions with forward Patric Hofstetter, 20, and defenseman Wesley Haueter, 21 (one-year deals).

Niki Altorfer, Alexis Valenza, Kim Lee Lindemann, and Jan Zwissler, on the other hand, have no future in Visp. All four will have to leave the club and find a new employer for the upcoming season.
