With the commitment of the two foreigners, Connor and Kennel Jones, Thurgau's roster for the 2019-20 season is almost complete. The position for an offensive defenseman is still open, as for cost reasons, the separation from Sami El Assaoui is becoming apparent. Allegedly, the Lions are about to sign a contract with a replacement.
The 27-year-old recorded 24 points in 56 games with HC Thurgau this season, the most by any defenseman in the team.
