HC Sierre appointed Diego Scandella as assistant coach to Dany Gélinas and signed three young players.

Diego Scandella is back in Switzerland.

Most recently Scandella was part of the coaching staff of Hungary and also worked for the Hungarian team Vasas SC as a consultant. Overall, Scandella spent 18 years in Switzerland as an assistant coach or head coach, first with HC Lugano and then with HC Ambrì-Piotta.

HC Sierre also announced the signings of goalkeeper Noah In-Albon (16), defenseman Thomas Devesvre (23) and forward Loïc Privet (19). Last season, In-Albon played 34 games with the Valais-Wallis Future U17 and one game with HC Sierre U20. Last season, Devesvre was overseas, playing in the FHL for the Mentors Ice Breakers, collecting 19 points in 38 games. Prior to that, he played for two seasons in the Swiss League with HC Ajoie (five points in 80 games).

Privet arrives from the HC Fribourg-Gottéron's U20 team, for which he recorded 30 points in 44 games. Devesvre and Privet both signed a one-year contract, while In-Albon signed a development contract.
