After his stint in Sierre, the 39-year-old is reportedly going to return to Genève-Servette HC in a role, which has yet to be defined.

Goran Bezina's contract in Geneva has expired after the past season. As Marc-André Berset (RTS) reports, the veteran defenseman will add another season to his career with HC Sierre, Genève-Servette HC's partner team in the Swiss League. Afterwards, Bezina is supposed to return to Geneva, in a role which has not yet been clarified.

Official confirmation, however, is still pending. HC Sierre's president Alain Bonnet even denies the news upon request of Le Nouvelliste: "That's not true, no contract has been signed."

Bezina has been part of GSHC since 2004, when he returned to Switzerland after three seasons in North America. His fifteen years in Geneva have only been interrupted by a short stint in the KHL with Medveščak Zagreb in 2016-17.
