As Dan Weisskopf reveals to the Journal du Jura, the dilemma he is facing is strong: "I don't know if I want to join the Swiss League soon or if I'm waiting for an opportunity in the National League. On the one hand, I'll be 30 in November, and this may be my last chance to play among the elite. On the other hand, I would also like to be able to settle down somewhere, to be able to work on a long-term basis with a club. And given that I've become father of a little boy on December 25, I also have to think about my family."

Last season, the veteran of 205 National League games and 254 Swiss League games, played 31 times with HC Ajoie, putting up four assists, and suited up for 24 games with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, recording three assists.
