Forward Lars Kellenberger broke his hand in the game against Rapperswil and will have to sit out for quite some time.

Out for a longer time: Lars Kellenberger.
HC Thurgau

In addition to Kellenberger, also forward Patrick Brändli is not ready to suit up at the beginning of the Bodensee Cup in Kreuzlingen, the Thurgauer Zeitung reports. Brändli is still recovering from an inflammation to his pubic bone. In defense, HC Thurgau will have to make do without Joel Scheidegger, who is struggling with adductor problems.

To alleviate the absences of Kellenberger and Brändli, SC Rapperswil-Jona's young forward Frantisek Rehak will reinforce the team. The 19-year-old Czech with a Swiss license joined Rapperswil this summer from EHC Kloten, for which he appeared in five games last season (no points).
