Will EHC Kloten lose their giant puck in the roundabout?

At the end of September, the temporary permit for the giant puck in the roundabout on the Schaffhauserstrasse in Kloten expires. The building authorities of the Canton of Zurich would only further tolerate the puck if EHC Kloten's logo was removed, the Zürcher Unterländer writes. From their point of view, the logo is a big advertisement, which is not allowed in a roundabout.

On Tuesday, the city council of Kloten will present the matter to the city's parliament. With the current legal situation, the council does not see a way to preserve the puck. EHC Kloten and 14 members of parliament, however, vowed to fight for the giant puck in its current form, which they see as a work of art that is not to be changed.
