Marco Mathis joined HCC on October 24 as a replacement for Christophe Bays, who was estimated to be sidelined for about two weeks. Now it is clear that Mathis will stay with La Chaux-de-Fonds for at least another month.
His future after that is still open. There are rumors swirling around that EHC Biel might be interested in his services. Mathis already practiced with the Seelanders last summer to keep in shape.
