Swiss League

Due to the poor results so far (eighth place in the standings), the club has decided to part ways with the Swede.

Mikael Kvarnström is not the head coach of the Bees anymore.

Mikael Kvarnström, 43, arrived at the beginning of the current season from the Norwegian top league with a two-year contract. Two weeks ago, the president of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds Alain Dubois already stated that he was not happy with the situation. After two more weeks, and two points in four games, the club evaluated that Kvarnström had to be fired.

During the international break, HCC will look for Kvarnström's replacement. In the meantime, the team manager Loïc Burkhalter will take over the coaching position ad-interim.
